You can find my family history research at my 110MB hosted web site (NB Rootschat web servers are down, so this may be a only a temporary solution).. While data about births, marriages and death of my ancestors lie at the core of the site, I have tried to provide as much additional information as possible to illustrate their lives more fully.

There are plenty of photos of my antecedents on my family history web site; there’s more at my Baker-Carter Family History pages at Flickr

GENEALOGY - BRITISH ISLES - RESOURCES

I have been seriously researching my family history for about four years.
There is a plethora of resources available on-line for research, and I am keen to highlight where the best deals are when you are paying to get at research resources, or spending that other precious resource, your time, in chasing leads that help trace those elusive ancestors.
Under the name of my alter-ego, Enumerator, I have launched the GenBIRes blogs. GenBIRes stands for:
Genealogy - British Isles - Resources.

A blog about commercial on-line resources for family historians researching their ancestors in the British Isles. Family History research can be a costly business, so the purpose of the GENBIRES blog is to help evaluate the different commercial genealogy research resources available to people researching their family history in the British Isles.

GENBIRES-Networking aims to give impartial advice about the facilities offered by a range of networking sites dealing with family history/genealogy in the British Isles. Such sites offer the opportunity for researchers to get in touch with each other on-line to exchange information or views about common research interests.
